Aqvil Pastes for Chrome saves what you select on any page, with a note of where it came from. It can also clip quotes into your article drafts and keep pages to read later, all without opening a tab.
- Right-click a selection, a link or the page to save it.
- Search your pastes from the toolbar, then copy, share or open one.
- Jot a new paste in the popup: pick Text, Code or Markdown and a colour. An unsent draft waits for you.

Researching something? Your first save starts a paste and every save after it goes on the end, each with the page it came from. Start a new paste when you're done, or switch to any recent one.Clip quotes into your drafts
Select a passage and clip it into a new article draft or one of your latest 20, as a quote with a Source link to the page. The draft you used last stays picked.Save pages to read later
Right-click, press Alt Shift L or tap Read later in the popup. The page lands on your Study reading list, and Aqvil articles become ordinary bookmarks.

Pastebin FAQ
Is the Aqvil pastebin free?
Yes. Pastes are part of your free Aqvil account: create one, paste, and share. There's no paid tier for pastes.
Who can see my pastes?
Only you. Every paste is private until you turn on a share link, and you can stop sharing at any time, which turns the link off straight away.
Can I password-protect a paste link?
Yes. Choose "Only with a password" when you share, and set a password of at least 4 characters. We only keep a hash of it, so send it to people separately from the link.
Can a paste link expire?
Yes: never, 1 hour, 1 day, 7 days, 30 days. After it expires the link stops working, and you can share again with a fresh one.
Does it support code and Markdown?
Each paste is Text, Code or Markdown. Code keeps its formatting and a language label; Markdown has a preview, and a side-by-side view on wide screens.
How big can a paste be?
Up to 200,000 characters per paste, and up to 500 pastes per account.
Can people edit a paste I share?
No. Shared links are read-only. Your edits show up on the link as soon as they're saved.
Is there a browser extension?
Yes: Aqvil Pastes for Chrome. Save selected text, a link or the page with a right-click or Alt+Shift+S, jot a quick paste from the toolbar, and search, copy, share or open your pastes without leaving the page you're on.
Can I collect several bits into one paste?
Yes. With the extension, your first save starts a paste and every save after it goes on the end, each with a note of the page it came from. Choose "Start a new paste" when you're done, or pick any recent paste to add to instead.
Can I clip quotes straight into an article?
Yes. Select text on any page and clip it into a new article draft or one of your 20 latest, as a quote with a "Source:" link back to the page. The draft you used last stays picked.
Can the extension save pages to read later?
Yes. Right-click, press Alt+Shift+L or use the popup, and the page lands on your Study reading list. Aqvil articles become normal bookmarks; anything else is filed under "From the web".
