Off-limits subjects
Some subjects aren’t published on Aqvil at all, however well they’re written. They’re where paid placements and link spam hide, and they’d cost every author here the trust readers give the site.

- Weapons salesSelling guns, ammunition or weapon parts.
- Get-rich-quick and speculative finance promotionMLM, trading signals, token presales, payday loans and promises of guaranteed returns.
- Essay mills and academic cheatingEssay mills, paid homework and exam-taking services.
- Fake engagement and link sellingBought followers, likes, reviews or backlinks, and link-selling packages.

Still fine
Writing about these subjects from your own professional work:
- A compliance lawyer on how gambling regulation is changing
- A security engineer explaining account takeovers so readers can defend against them
- A doctor on what diet pills actually do to people
Never fine
Promoting them, in any format:
- Reviews, rankings and “best of” lists
- Bonus codes, sign-up offers and affiliate links
- An article that exists to send readers to an operator
Topics have to match, too. Filing an article under topics it isn’t about, like a casino review under Writing, is one of the oldest spam tricks, and it gets the article held.
What happens
- The editor tells you while you’re writing, so you can change course.
- If you publish anyway, it goes to a moderator instead of going live, at every trust level.
- Off-limits articles are refused. Repeated attempts count as abuse.
Links
Link to your website, your company, documentation, research and resources when they are genuinely useful to the reader in that sentence. Use natural anchor text.

Links from new authors carry a user-generated-content qualifier until the account is established. Paid or sponsored links must be marked as sponsored. We do not sell links, and we make no promises about how search engines treat any link on Aqvil.

Ownership
You own what you write. By publishing on Aqvil you give us the rights needed to host, display and distribute it on the platform and in feeds.
You can edit or unpublish at any time. Unpublished articles are archived, not deleted, so that moderation history stays intact.
Trust levels
New accounts have publishing and link limits, and their first articles are reviewed before going public. Abuse resets the clock.
